Starting November 5, a new eBasketball season begins — faster, more dynamic, and more realistic than ever. 
Our tournaments will now be played on the latest version of the legendary PS5 game — NBA2K26, bringing a fresh feel to every dribble, shot, and defensive move.

The first thing you’ll notice — the game is faster. Even centers move quicker, and the overall match tempo has clearly increased. At the same time, player ratings have a bigger impact: in NBA2K25 it was easy to score even with average stats, but in 2K26, accuracy fully depends on your skill — top shooters will finally feel their advantage.

Shooting is now more realistic: either perfect timing — or a miss. The free throw and jump shot mechanics use a stable green window that rewards precision and rhythm, while risk settings are removed — it’s all about timing now.

On defense, the contest system has changed: if the defender’s hand doesn’t visually block the shot, it’s counted as open. Steals are also less frequent, so offense feels smoother and more confident.
